Should Laws “Expire”?

Lets say every time we have an election of Congress, meaning Senate and House, should we have them vote on each and every Law? Should it be that when a Law is created it has an expiration date that five years from said Law, the next Congress meaning House and Senate, are re-elected?

I mean we can go even further, should each time a Congress is elected we not only debate old laws, but existing Executive Orders and each single Federal Agency? Should we as Americans create a more machine wash and dryer style system? Each time we take out a load that is wet to dry it changes a state?

Imagine if we made voting the same way? We vote to put people into position to either reinforce said Federal Agencies and which Federal Laws need to be upheld?

I think we could do a better job of handling our deficit if we as the voters had more power over the Federal. I mean its not like my life would be ruined if the Federal Government stopped right now. The State should carry more power than the Federal unless it goes against the Constitution which isn’t a Guide for Federal, its a Guide for all Laws.

So to draw this all back to you as the reader, should Laws expire? Should Congress be forced to promote agencies and denounce others that are redundant based upon how people vote? Should we include a fail safe button that forces all seats, may they be Senate or House, be made open to vote for?

What’s your viewpoint dear reader?
