Is it Time to Endorse and Assist the Other Side?

Caveat Emptor because doing so is like a box of chocolates. My question refers to the current result of the NYC Democratic mayoral race but not reduced to just NYC. Is it time to back/assist/endorse a more moderate democrat in order to avoid such liberal, socialist lunacy, as in the likes of AOC, Omar, Jayapal, Brandon in Shitcago?

As current liberal lunacy talking points express the ruthlessness of King Trump, it reminds me of the historical period of Tsar Nicholas II and the popular rise of socialism, communism and anarchism. Mao sound familiar? More closely affected by personal events, does the rise of Fidel Castro overthrowing Batista in 1959 imbue the same game plan? It is apparent. And it is clearly apparent with some of the candidates (their talking points) today that call themselves democrats. I think not. They are not.

Now, it won’t go unsaid that such political games, from both sides, have not occurred throughout our history. Politics is a dirty business. Filthy. But given the current state of affairs, is it time to assist the more moderate of liberals? As we say, the lesser of two evils. And no, we are not bailing out the moneyless DNC. Eric Adams, a recent transplant to Independent does not say/mean much really. He has some conservative views but ran as a democrat because, well, that would get him elected. Closer to home, the Palm Beach Sheriff, a no-nonsense lawman, runs and gets elected as a Democrat. His policies and views are not. It is democratic Palm Beach County after all.

So back to the main question. Should we assist in electing the lesser evil or should the Democrats continue on this path, and WE hope they will implode, even though implosion may result in a new wave of socialism, communism and anarchism? And, as we continue to hear and read, it is, apparently, a new and improved system/version of socialism, communism and anarchism. Go figure. Everyone will be equal. Except, some will be more equal than others.   Talk amongst yourselves.
