CNBC Republican Presidential Debate Open Thread

So there’s another Republican primary debate tonight, this time on CNBC. It will be broken up into two parts like the two previous debates were.

The lowest-polling candidates will get their turn to make their appeals to voters at 6pm Eastern Time/5pm Central. Those candidates are Rick Santorum, Bobby Jindal, George Pataki, and Lindsey Graham.

The highest-polling candidates have the prime-time slot at 8pm Eastern/7pm Central. Those candidates are Donald Trump, Ben Carson, Marco Rubio, Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorina, Ted Cruz, Mike Huckabee, Chris Christie, John Kasich and Rand Paul. The debate will last for two hours.

The debate takes place at the Coors Events Center at the University of Colorado in Boulder, and CNBC’s Carl Quintanilla, Becky Quick, and John Harwood will moderate with Jim Cramer and Rick Santelli among those asking questions of the candidates. The title for the debate is “Your Money, Your Vote: The Republican Presidential Debate,” plus it’s on CNBC, so expect the program to primarily focus on financial/economic issues.

The debate can be seen live on CNBC through your cable or satellite provider. The event will also be hosted on the CNBC website and via the CNBC mobile apps, Apple TV, or if you have a CNBC PRO subscription. Watching the debate on the website, with the app, or on Apple TV will require verification of your cable subscription. More details can be found here.

The debate can be heard on Sirius XM station 112 and on Westwood One radio stations. You can look here to find out if any of those stations are in your area.

This is an open thread, so the discussion doesn’t necessarily have to be about the debate. If you don’t feel like watching or talking about the debate, you can watch and talk about the World Series. If you don’t feel like watching or talking about the World Series, you can watch and talk about the debate. If you feel like watching and talking about both, you can. If you feel like watching one, listening to the other, and talking about Grandma’s raisin-oatmeal cookie recipe, there are ways to do that, too. Or you can do none of those options. Doesn’t matter to me. Just play nice. Thanks.
