All Natural Creamer Goes Au Naturel

Before we all head back to work tomorrow and before we witness a new week of political ignorance, I thought we might need a somewhat fun story.

As you know, we are being pushed encouraged to eat healthier and be more active. A healthier lifestyle is not a bad thing, I’ve just been a tad bit annoyed at how it’s been done.

Nestle’s has decided to join the “all natural ingredients” healthy train with their creamer–Nestle’s Natural Bliss All-Natural Coffee Creamer–which has only five ingredients including milk, cream, sugar, salt and natural flavors. They introduced it a few years ago, but I guess the concept hasn’t been flying off the shelves, since they recently tried a different marketing technique…baristas in the buff.

From FoxNews.com

On April 24, Nestle took over Irving Farm Coffee Roasters, a small coffee shop in Manhattan’s trendy Lower East Side neighborhood. Models in head to toe body paint –and nothing else — replaced the usual baristas—much to the surprise of the caffeine deprived patrons during morning rush hour. More actors in barely-there paint were scattered around the shop to flesh out the effect.

Imagine going into your local coffee place for your morning cup of joe and being served by nekkid models. I find the idea fun and creative, although I couldn’t help but wonder if the health department thought the same.
